Controlling Humidity in the Incubator

Shared by Craig Fields

Here’s a great tip, for dialing in humidity for incubating. I knew it was directly correlated to the water surface area. I always tried different sized pans to find one that produced the desired result. Now, I’ve gone back to the full sized pan and simply “float” a piece of styrophome that I cut to a size that leaves the desired amount of water surface area exposed. Simple, easy, and lessons the amount of times I have to fill up, since I can use the full size pan now. Thanks for the idea Brian Decker!
